02How it works

• 2 — Intake, on your clock. A focused 20-minute form: what the book is, where you are (idea, partial draft, or manuscript), who it's for, and what it must accomplish. Have pages? Share a Google Drive or Dropbox link — the quote gets sharper when the work starts from your actual material.
• 3 — Delivery. Your written Blueprint and recorded walkthrough arrive within seven business days.
• 4 — Revision. Read it, react, and one revision pass is included.

03The terms, plainly

• Scope: the Blueprint includes review of your intake, your outline or synopsis, and a representative sample of any manuscript you share. If a full-manuscript assessment is needed before an accurate quote can be prepared, that will be recommended separately — never silently skipped.
• Credit: the full $499 is applied to your project if you proceed within 12 months.
• Ownership: the Blueprint document is yours — take it to another writer if you wish. It's designed to be useful either way.
• Refunds: full refund any time before work begins. Work begins when the studio emails confirmation that your completed intake has entered production. After delivery, the fee stands — you'll have the work in hand.
• No obligation: the Blueprint is a complete deliverable, not a down payment. No pressure sequence afterward — the quote simply stays valid for 60 days.

04How the Blueprint differs from a consultation

A consultation determines whether a project is a fit. The Blueprint goes further: it produces a written plan, a fixed quote, and recommendations you can use whether or not you hire the studio — which means it can honestly conclude "your book should be 35,000 words, not 80,000," or "you need an editor, not a ghostwriter."
