Privacy Policy
Plain language, because that's the house style. This page describes what this website actually collects and what happens to it.
What we collect
The contact form and the Blueprint intake form collect what you type into them — your name, email address, and project details. Resend delivers those submissions to the studio inbox. Links you share to your own files through Google Drive or Dropbox stay under your control; they are treated as private, accessed only as needed for the requested work, and access can be revoked by you.
The price calculator runs in your browser until you submit an order. Checkout transmits the selected scope, author name, email, your story brief or optional project notes, file links, and your consent choices. The free cover-prompt tool transmits nothing to the studio; following its ChatGPT link is a separate third-party action.
Orders and production files. Cloudflare hosts the site and stores order records. Verified book customers may upload manuscripts and images into private storage using their private order link. Anyone with that link can access that order: keep it confidential. Optional HTTPS Google Drive or Dropbox links are also accepted. Uploaded files are not automatically forwarded to an AI provider. Do not upload passwords, government IDs, medical records, patient-identifiable information, intimate images, or precise home or school locations.
Service providers and AI processing. Stripe processes payments for Vivid Resources LLC; we do not receive full card numbers. Resend sends order and support emails. Cloudflare provides hosting, private file and order storage, and aggregate analytics. Relevant creative text or images may be processed with OpenAI/ChatGPT to create or revise the commissioned work. Provider retention and training practices depend on the account and settings; we do not promise zero retention. Before identifiable photographs or confidential manuscripts are submitted to AI, the studio must confirm appropriate permissions and provider settings. If those cannot be established, we request replacement or de-identified material or refund unearned work. Contact and payment details are not placed in creative prompts unless genuinely necessary.
Adults and children's images. Checkout is for adults 18 or older, not children. An adult submitting a child's image must have authority and written parent or guardian permission for the requested use. We do not knowingly accept submissions directly from children. If identified, such submissions will be stopped and removed subject to legal and security exceptions. We do not use client manuscripts or likenesses in public samples, advertising, or our own model training without a separate written opt-in.
No sale or advertising sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We disclose information only to necessary service providers and as needed to fulfill the service, protect the site, or meet legal obligations.
How we use it
Contact details are used to reply to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to run and support your project. Email carries receipts and important approvals. A phone number is requested only if you choose project texts or an optional short call, with separate permission for that selected method—not marketing. You may change your preference by replying to your order email; reply STOP to stop project texts. Project details are treated as confidential from first contact.
Retention and removal
Unpaid intakes are removed after seven days. Private book uploads expire 180 days after upload and can be deleted earlier through the order page; expiration removes the stored upload, not copies already used in production. Paid order, consent, payment and accounting records may be retained for up to seven years when needed for accounting, disputes, tax, legal, or other lawful business-record requirements. Support and working copies are reviewed for removal when no longer needed for the project; you may request earlier removal. Legal holds, disputes, security investigations and service-provider retention may require longer retention.
For help removing your material, reply to your confirmation email or use the free support form. We can remove our project copies where possible and help with requests involving a service provider. Revoking a Drive or Dropbox link stops future access, but does not remove copies already used to create your book. Some provider backups and required payment or business records follow their own retention rules; we will explain any limits that apply.
